SkillEx 2006 Regional Competition

Carpentry:

Carpenters construct timber frames, floors and ceiling frameworks for buildings. They also make alterations to existing buildings and carry out renovations. Carpenters must be able to read building plans and are often required to estimate costs of labour time and material for a project.

An Electrician installs, maintains and repairs electrical wiring and electrical and electronic equipment.
